Staple Jams in Staple Cartridge (for Finisher-AB1)
This section describes how to clear staple jam occurred in the staple cartridge of the Finisher-
AB1 (optional).

Make sure that the machine is not operating,
and open the finisher front cover.

Take the staple cartridge out of the machine.
Note • The staple cartridge is firmly inserted. A slight
force is required to pull the cartridge out of the
finisher.

After you take out the staple cartridge, check
inside of the finisher for any remaining staples.

Pull up the metal part of the staple cartridge as
shown in the illustration.

Remove the jammed staples (1), and then
return the metal part pulled up in step 4 to the
original position (2).
