6.2 Electical installation
DANGER!
Danger to life through contact with live components
Contact with live components can lead to life-threatening injuries through
electric shock.
Arrange for work on live components to be carried out by qualified
electricians only
Switch off the electrical supply of the control unit before starting work and
secure against restart
Do not bypass guards and fuses
Check that there is no voltage; ground and short-circuit control unit if
necessary
Cover and cordon off neighbouring live parts
WARNING!
Risk of injury from electrical current
To protect against potentially fatal electrical shock, all components of the Plant
must be earthed.
Connect all existing earth connections to an earthing bus individually and
directly.
UL-compliant ring cable lugs must be used for all earth connections.
Earth cables must be designed for the maximum supply fault current
normally limited by fuses or motor circuit breakers.
The electrical installation of the control cabinet must be carried out in
accordance with the information in the circuit diagram. This is located in the
document compartment on the inside of the control cabinet door
