Configuring the Bravo™ for Printed Circuit Boards
Introduction The Length and Width of the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) or the pallet upon which
it is placed must be entered into the machine software to accurately track the
boards through the machine.
There are several places in the software to enter the data.
Entering the PCB
Length
PCB Length can be entered in almost any of the screens of the software.
In the Process Graphic Screen, it is entered in the PCBs Data portion of the
screen.
In the Process Tabular Screen, it is entered in the row containing the PCB
Length label.
In the Recipe Screen it is entered into the PCB Length field. Note that the Rec-
ipe must be loaded by pressing the Load button at the bottom of the screen
before a change takes effect.
In the Setup > PCBs Window, it is entered into the Length parameter by
highlighting the current value and entering a new value.
PCB Width It is apparent that with a standard Mesh Belt Conveyor, it is not necessary to
configure the PCB width in the software. If the optional Pin Chain Conveyor is
installed, refer to the following section on width adjust to configure the PCB
Width.
PCB Multiplier If the PCBs are processed individually, the multiplier value is one (1). If multiple
PCBs are mounted on a pallet, enter the number of PCBs contained on each
pallet. The multiplier parameter is used to keep an accurate count of the actual
number of BOARDS processed.
