Tricks of the Trade
The following are some tricks and tips to help you operate your robot.

Robot Search Pattern
This version of the RCC software improves the way the robot searches for an object or
color to follow. Once you click the Run it button, the robot will pause for five seconds,
while attempting to locate the object or color. If it does locate the object or color, it will
begin the follow behavior. If it does not see the object or color after five seconds, it will
begin a search spin. The robot will turn 360
o
unless it finds the object or color. If it does
not find the object or color, it will stop after turning 360
o
.
Also, if after seeing the object, the robot loses sight of it, the robot will stop for one or two
seconds to try to reaquire the object before starting a spin search.
