Remind you to take the muffins out of the oven
1. Under If on a blank behavior tab, checkmark Time and set the time when you want to
be reminded to remove the muffins from the oven. If it is 6:30 A.M. now, maybe you
want to be reminded in 15 minutes, so you would set the time to 6:45 A.M., and the
frequency to Once.
2. Under Then, click on Play a Sound and type “Take the muffins out of the oven” in the
Phrase to Speak field.
3. Click ER1’s Run it button.
4. ER1 should remind you at 6:45 A.M. to “Take the muffins out of the oven.”
5. Save the behavior and then click on Open to get a new, blank behavior set.
Remind you to call home if you are running late at the office
1. Under If on a blank behavior tab, checkmark Time and set the time when you want to
be reminded to call home. So, if you want to be reminded daily at 5:30 P.M., enter
5:30 P.M. and select Daily.
2. Under Then, click on Play a Sound and type, “Remember to call home” in the Phrase
to Speak field.
3. Click ER1’s Run it button.
4. ER1 will remind you every day at 5:30 P.M. to “Remember to call home.”
5. Save the behavior and then click on Open to get a new, blank behavior set.
Remind you to pick up the dry cleaning
1. Under If on a blank behavior tab, checkmark Time and set the time when you want to
be reminded to pick up the dry cleaning. If you want to be reminded at 4:30 P.M., type
4:30 P.M.
2. Select Once from the third pulldown menu in the Time condition area.
3. Under Then, click on Play a Sound and type “Don’t forget to pick up the dry
cleaning” in the Phrase to Speak field.
4. Click ER1’s Run it button.
5. At 4:30 P.M. ER1 will remind you to pick up your dry cleaning.
6. Save the behavior and then click on Open to get a new, blank behavior set.
Remind you to feed the fish every day
1. Under If on a blank behavior tab, checkmark Time and set the time when you want to
feed the fish. So, if you want to be reminded daily at 9:00 A.M., enter 9:00 A.M. and
select Daily.
2. Under Then, click on Play a Sound and type, “Remember to feed the fish” in the
Phrase to Speak field.
3. Click ER1’s Run it button.
