9 Connect the power cable to the power connector of the internal DVD-RAM
drive unit and install the drive unit in the server.
Since the IDE cable is not yet connected, do not install the drive unit completely in the server.
10 Connect the IDE cable to the baseboard and install the drive unit completely in
the server.
Be sure to slide the drive unit all the way into the server. The drive unit is automatically locked.
When sliding the internal DVD-RAM drive unit into the server, be careful so that the power
cable of the internal DVD-RAM drive unit does not get caught.
11 Attach the top cover.

12 Push the server back into the rack.
■ How to Remove the Internal DVD-RAM Drive Unit
To remove the internal DVD-RAM drive unit, reverse the installation procedure.
