Installing Internal Options
■ PCI Hot Plug (PHP)
• PCI slot 3 and PCI slot 4 in this server support the PHP function. If an expansion card is defective,
you can replace the defective expansion card without turning off the server and peripheral devices.
This function is available only when the OS is Windows Server 2003 x64. Using this function with
another OS may cause a failure such as system down.
• Because not all applications support the PHP function, check the support status of the applications to
use in advance.
In this server, replaceable expansion cards with the PHP function are described below. Expansion
cards other than those below are not supported.
• LAN card (PG-1892L)
• LAN Card (PG-1882L)
