8.1.3 The Standard IDE Submenu
This submenu appears when selecting [Standard IDE] from the main menu.
Use this submenu to set the type and operating mode for connected IDE devices.

Item Setting Description
PIO Mode PIO 4 Sets the data transfer mode.
DMA Mode UDMA 2 Sets the DMA (Direct Memory Access) data
transfer mode.
Firmware x.xx Displays the firmware version.
