8.1 BIOS Setup Utility
This section explains how to make settings in the BIOS Setup Utility, and the items of 
each setting.
8.1.1 Starting and Exiting the BIOS Setup Utility
The following explains how to start and exit the BIOS Setup Utility.
■ How to Start the BIOS Setup Utility
1 Turn on the server.
2 When the message "<F2> BIOS Setup / <F12> Boot Menu" appears on the 
screen during POST, press the [F2] key while the message is displayed,
When POST is completed, the Main menu screen appears,
 The Main menu screen may not appear although the [F2] key is pressed.
 In this case, press the [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Delete] keys simultaneously and restart the server, then
start the BIOS Setup.
 If you press the [F12] key while the message "<F2> BIOS Setup / <F12> Boot Menu" is dis-
played on the screen, the Boot menu screen will appear after POST is completed.
