keys are programmed. If this occurs, the sequence will have to be restarted from the beginning. When
prompted by the IIDTool:
• PressandholdtheUnlockbuttonontherstkeytobeprogrammed.Whilstthebuttonisbeing
pressed, press the lock button 3 times within 10 seconds.
• Release both buttons simultaneously.
• Repeat steps 1 and 2 for all other available keys.
Add a key (VIN Locked L322-10, L319-10, L320-10, L538, L359 2013+)
BT / Pro only
This routine is used to add one (1) new key to the vehicle. It will not remove previously programmed
keys.
Instructions
An already programmed key is needed to begin the procedure. Instructions will be displayed on screen.
When prompted, press and hold the unlock button of the remote. Pressing the unlock button will be
done a few times in a row to complete all programming steps. The horn will be activated during the
procedure.
Note :
• A used key can be programmed to a vehicle. Once programmed, it will no longer work on the
previous vehicle. The emergency start (dead remote battery) will not work on the new vehicle.
• Both key models (slim and bigger one) can be programmed on any model and year.
• Later L494 and L405 in certain regions have been locked and key programming cannot have a
key added. The KVM needs to be replaced at a Land Rover dealer.
• If upon programming the process fails with Error E7, please contact us for assistance. This will
occuroncertainKVMrmwareversion.Keyscanbeprogrammedbuttheprocessrequiresus
toprovidealetorelfashtheKVM.

Thisroutinewillindicatehowmanykeysareprogrammedonaspecicvehicle.
Usage
This function is useful to prevent vehicle theft. For example, if one leaves the vehicle at a detailer, user
can verify if someone programmed a new key for malicious usage afterwards. The function will return
two results, the number of programmed key(s) currently in the vehicle vicinity and the total number of
key(s) programmed.
