2.9.3 Activation using the Integrated (II) or PC Interface

Prerequisites

• Havingcompletedthegeneralprerequisitesforactivationmentionedbefore

• Beawareofwarningsandparticularities

• Havingthenecessarytoolstonotetheactivationcode

• Haveaccesstoapersonalcomputerwithaninternetservice(foroneofthestages)

Steps to activate the IIDTool using the Intergrated (II) or PC Interface.

1- Turn ignition ON without starting the engine (turning the key to “ON, II” or press the “start en-

gine” button without simultaneously pressing the brake pedal).

2- Connect the IIDTool on the OBDII connector

3- Wait 30 seconds until the “ IIDTool Ready ” message is displayed on the instrument pack screen.

This delay is caused by the scan process which detects which ECUs are present.

4- Lunch the Integrated Interface by pressing on the button (section 2.8.3). If the PC interface

is used (section 2.8.5), once connected to the tool click on .

5- Reach the activation code by browsing through the menus as follows : Menu -

IIDToolCong

Unlock Code

6- Note the 10 character activation code.

Note : It is possible to scroll the code from left to right if required with the and buttons.

7- Obtain the unlock code (section 2.9.4)

8- Once the unlock code is received, return to the vehicle, repeat steps 1 to 5

9- Enter the Unlock Code using the corresponding commands (section 2.8.3, section 2.8.4 and

section 2.8.5)

10- Once the unlock code is entered correctly, the IIDTool will backup the suspension calibration

andCarCongurationFile(CCF).Aconrmationofexecutionwillbedisplayed.

The user has now access to advanced programming functions and data backup.
