enabledintheCarCongurationFile(CCF).

• Re-ashingtheBodyControlECUtakesaround2.5minutes.
• GoodelectricalconnectionsattheOBDconnectorandhighenoughbatteryvoltageareboth
criticaltothesuccessoftheBCMre-ash.
• Ifyoudonothaveaccesstoapowersupply(Midtronic’sPSC-550,CTEKMXS25orequi-
valent), use jump cables and another vehicle with the engine running to supply current to the
battery.
• Donotusearegularbatterycharger.
• Makesureyouhaveplentyoftimeaheadbeforeproceeding.
• ifre-ashingfailsontherstattempt,fuses15and16oftheenginefuseboxwillhavetobe
removed quickly to prevent damages to latches or other devices controlled by the BCM. We
strongly recommend loosening the fuses using pliers before updating the BCM. This way, it will
be easier to remove both of them quickly in case of a failure.
Recovery Method
Ifafailureoccurredandasecondattemptisneeded,selectthefunctiontore-ashtheBCMandwhen
themessage“ToggleFuse”isdisplayed,reconnectfuse15.There-ashwillstartautomaticallyand
once completed, reconnect fuse 16. If it failed on the second attempt also with only fuse 15 installed,
try again with fuse 16 only.
