2.4 Installing Interfaces
Purpose
Being able to interact with and control the IIDTool
Principle
Depending on the model of IIDTool or preference (section 1.7), proceed with installing the selected
interface.
2.4.1 Intalling the PC-based interface*
Takes place simultaneously during the installation of the updater software ( “IIDTool Updater”) on the
PC. No additional action is required. The PC interface is called “Controller”.

2.4.2 Installing the Integrated Interface
No installation operation is required. The interface will be accessible automatically when connecting
the tool to the vehicles OBDII connector.
2.4.3 Installing the Application (App) IIDControl
The IIDControl App can be used with an IIDTool BT or IIDTool Pro

Installing the mobile App
Download (free) the IIDControl App from Apple App Store or Google Play Store in each mobile device.
BeforeusingtheApp,theleswillhavetobesynchronizedwiththecurrentIIDToolrmware(seesec-
tion 2.6)
Note : Occasional updates are recommended. They will be announced by the Applications Manager.
Please proceed with updating the IIDTool to the latest rmware when updating the mobile App section
