4.1.3 General Access to Functions
General Prerequisites for all Interfaces
• Havingaccesstothevehicleinasafeenvironment(section 2.7.1).
• Takingprecautionstoavoidbatterydrainage(section 2.7.2).
• HavingconnectedthetooltotheODBIIconnector(section 2.8.2).
• KnowthecontrolsoftheselectedInterface(section 2.8.3, section 2.8.4 or section 2.8.5).
II Steps to access Functions
1- Fulllthegeneralprerequisitesdenedabove.
2- Lunch the IIDTool by pressing on .
3- Navigate using the and buttons.
4- Select the desired function with the command .

Prerequisites :
• OwnaIIDToolBT or IIDTool Pro.
• Havingaccesstoacompatiblemobiledevice(section 1.7.5) with the IIDControl App installed
(section 2.4.3) and synchronized with the IIDTool (section 2.6).
Steps to access Functions
1- FulllthegeneralandAppprerequisitesdenedabove.
2- Follow instructions found in section 2.8.3 to access the menu.
3- Select the desired function.

ThisfunctiondisplaysthecurrentrmwareversionoftheIIDToolbeingused.

1- Perform the initial stages of general access to functions (section 4.1.3).
2- Navigate to Read Faults and press to view the version. Do not enter the Read Fault function.

The IIDTool BT or IIDTool Pro current version is displayed on the main menu screen (Build
WXYZ).
Note : The IIDTool rmware version is also visible when pairing with the Updater Software (Updater
software installation, section 2.3 and Updating the IIDTool rmware section 2.5)
