2.9.7 Transfer of ownership
Purpose
Allow the new owner of the IIDTool to access the advanced functions on a vehicle (some restrictions
apply, see section 1.4.2).
Prerequisites
• HavingpurchasedausedIIDToolorIIDToolBT
• Havingconsultedorbeawareofapplicablerestrictionstotheuseofallicences(section 1.5)
Note : Transferring a unit will remove advanced programming functions capability from the previous
vehicle and have the unit registered under your name.
Steps for transferring an IIDTool:
1- Proceed with purchasing a transfert of ownership from the manufacturer website:

2- Discover the activation code with the chosen interface

3- Send the activation code to this e-mail address:

4- Once a reply is received with the unlock code, simply proceed with the appropriate steps:

Theusernowhasaccesstoadvancedprogrammingfunctions,toupdatesandsave/restorefunctions
forhisvehicle.Automaticbackupsofairsuspensionsettings(ifapplicable)andtheCarConguration
File (CCF) will be performed once connected to the vehicle on which the new unlock will be applied.
