Regular non-Bluetooth IIDTool, rst hardware version: Usage of the PC-based controller is man-
datory. The IIDTool must be connected to the computer until the process is completed. The option
willbedisplayedonyourcomputerscreen(re-ashmenu).Pleaseconsultsection 2.8.5 of this user
manual for more details on the PC-based interface. If using a laptop, make sure the battery charger is
connected. Close all programs, disable all automatic updates and screen saver. The computer does
not need to be connected to the internet.
Regular non-Bluetooth IIDTool, second hardware version: The function is embedded in the IIDTool
rmware.User canchoose betweenthe regularIntegrated Interfaceor PC-basedinterface. When
using a laptop, make sure the battery charger is connected. Close all programs, disable all automatic

• SelecttheBluetoothre-ashandfollowtheinstructionsonscreen.
• TheprocessisdonewiththekeytotheAccessoryposition(I).Makesurethattheheadlightsare
turnedoandthatanyunnecessarylightsoraccessoryareturnedoalso.
• Uponcompletion,turnthekeytotheONposition(II)andfollowtheinstructionsonscreen.

• SelecttheBluetoothre-ashandfollowtheinstructionsonscreen.
• TheprocessisstartedwiththekeytoIgnition,positionII.Oncere-ashinghasbegun(indicated
on the Navigation screen), the key can be removed. It can also be left in position II in which
case the user should keep an eye on the vehicle and wait until completion (the instrument pack
will wake up). Failure to turn the key to the OFF position after the procedure is completed (or if
a failure occurred) will lead to a battery drain if not connected to a power supply.
