Regular non-Bluetooth IIDTool, rst hardware version: Usage of the PC-based controller is man-
datory. The IIDTool must be connected to the computer until the process is completed. The option will
bedisplayedonyourcomputerscreen(re-ashmenu).Pleaseconsultsection 2.8.5 of this manual for
more details on the PC-based interface. If using a laptop, make sure the battery charger is connected.
Close all programs, disable all automatic updates and screen saver. The computer does not need to
be connected to the internet.
Regular non-Bluetooth IIDTool, second hardware version: updating the tool to the Nav On Move
“Special”rmware(V3.01Buildxyz)(seesection 2.5)isneeded.Thisrmwareisusedforthispurpose
only and won’t allow any other diagnostic tasks to be performed. Once the procedure is completed,
simply revert back to the latest released version. User can choose between the regular Integrated
section 2.8.4 or PC-based interface section 2.8.5. When using a laptop, make sure the battery charger
is connected. Close all programs, disable all automatic updates and screen saver. The computer does
not need to be connected to the internet.
CAUTION
Since the time required is signicant, it is recommended to
connect an additional power supply (Midtronic PSC-550, CTEK
or equivalent) to the vehicle battery. If the battery is in good
condition and fully charged, the steps may be performed one at
a time, without additional power supply. It will then be required
to charge the battery between each step. Another vehicle having
the engine can also be used to maintain tension using booster
cables.
4- Updating
How to proceed without a power supply
L322-2005 and L322-06: It is not recommended to choose the “whole process” without using an addi-
tional power supply connected to the battery. II The regular Integrated Interface cannot be used unless
a power supply is connected to the vehicle’s battery.
L319-04 and L320-05: It is not recommended to use the “whole process” feature without using a bat-
tery maintainer.
