8-7-2-2 XY-Brake Assy removal procedure (cont’d)
8.) Gently, but firmly, pull down on the long end of the allen wrench. The brake assembly will slide out
of the slot it mates with in the brake shoe.
NOTE: Figure 8-186 shows the XY brake removed and demonstrates placement of the Allen wrench.
