MAINTENANCE
Two types of maintenance operations are
available: calibrate vertical resolution, and
compensate the probe. Run these operations
when using GDS-2000 in a new environment.
Vertical Resolution Calibration
Panel operation
1. Press the Utility key.

2. Press F5 (More).

3. Press F1 (Self Cal Menu).

4. Press F1 (Vertical).

5. The buzzer sounds and the message “Set CAL
to CH1, then press F5” appears at the bottom of
the display.
6. Connect the calibration
signal from the rear panel
CAL out to Channel1 input.
7. Press F5.
