description of constraints placed on the ID depending on the slide format used.

The barcode must have a minimum height of 0.22 inch (5.88 mm) and a maximum width no wider
than 0.75 inch (19.05 mm).

Slide OCR Label Format
For slides that will be used with the ThinPrep Imaging System, OCR label format must be
14 characters long (which reserves the last 3 characters as check characters). See Figure 7-23.
