5015 - Duplicate
Slide ID
Multiple slides were labeled
with the same ID number in the
batch. The vial with the dupli-
cate ID will not be processed.
In Small Batch Mode, multiple
slides were labeled with the
same ID number.
In AutoLoader mode, the ID for
a slide was generated but not
etched because the slide ID
would have the same ID num-
ber as another slide ID.
The vial ID and/or slide ID bar-
code configuration and/or the
slide label design is/are not set
up to correctly identify the sec-
tion of the vial label that is the
accession ID and etch it on the
slide.
Check the sample IDs and con-
firm that they are duplicates. A
slide was only made from the
first vial.
The patient information must
be checked and reconciled for
both vials.
In Small Batch mode, relabel
the second slide and repro-
cess.
In AutoLoader mode, check
and correct the Label Design.
Correct the slide ID barcode
configuration on the instru-
ment. Refer to “Configure Slide
ID” on page 6.51.
5016 - Sample
Error During
Processing
Positive tank error or other
error during cell transfer.
This message is only a notifica-
tion; the slide is processed and
may be adequate.
The filter might be punctured
or defective.
The system has a pressure
leak.
Gyn slides -
If the slide is satisfactory for
screening purposes, no further
action is necessary.
If the slide is inadequate, follow
laboratory procedure for
reporting unsatisfactory speci-
mens.
Non-gyn slides -
If there is additional sample
material available, make
another slide with more cells if
possible.
If the error persists, contact
Technical Support.
5017 - Obstruction
in Vial
Filter meets resistance when
moving into the vial.
Possible object left in vial such
as collection device.
Examine the vial to see if there
is a foreign object in it.
