Replace the Platen Roller
If the printer platen roller gets damaged or wears out, it may need to be replaced.
1. Turn the printer off and disconnect the printer from power.
2. Pull one or both of the printer latches toward the front of the printer and lift the
printer lid.
3. Press the roller latches apart and tilt them up.
4. Pull the latches up to remove the platen roller from the printer.
5. Insert the new platen roller and press the latches into the printer until they
snap shut.
