Timing Considerations
You may need timing considerations for synchronizing measurements with
external instruments.
Following example program controls a DMM with the HP 4155A/4156A.
Measurement circuit is shown below:
The HP 4155A/4156A has an HP-IB I/O buer and can receive commands
before executing previous command. So the execution order of HP
4155A/4156A and DMM is dierent from the order in the program.
In the following example, the HP 3458A receives a measurement trigger
command right after the HP 4155A/4156A receives a force voltage trigger.
