Encoder Strip
Refer to Figure 30 to Figure 32.
Removal
WARNING Switch off the printer and remove the power cord.
1. Remove the following
1. "Left Hand Cover" see page 8-13.
2. "Right Hand Cover" see page 8-4.
3. "Back Cover" see page 8-32.
CAUTION To prevent damage to the encoder strip, hold it at the ends only.
NOTE Working from the rear of the printer.
NOTE For steps 2 and 3, refer to Figure 30.
2. Remove five 7mm nuts (item 1) from the EMC Cover (item 2).
3. Remove two T-15 screws (item 3) from the EMC Cover and remove
the plate.
