● Observe the following precautions when moving devices:
– Do not carry the weight that is over the maximum load per person
allowed by local laws or regulations.
– Before moving or installing devices, check the maximum weight and
arrange required personnel.
● Before touching a device, ensure that you are wearing ESD clothing and ESD
gloves (or wrist strap), and remove any conductive objects (such as watches
and jewelry). Figure 1-2 shows conductive objects that must be removed
before you touch a device.

Figure 1-3 shows how to wear an ESD wrist strap.
1. Put on the ESD wrist strap.
2. Fasten the buckle and ensure that the ESD wrist strap is in good contact with
your skin.
3. Insert the ground terminal of the ESD wrist strap into the jack on the
grounded cabinet or chassis.
