Fan modules support hot swap. You do not need to perform Step 8 to Step 10 when you
can open the chassis cover without removing the server. The scenarios include but are not
limited to: (1) the server is installed on holding or adjustable guide rails, and (2) the server
is not installed in a cabinet.

Step 5 Close the memory window on the air duct. See (2) in Figure 7-28.
Step 6 Install full-height full-length riser cards if they are required. For details, see 7.20

Step 7 Install the chassis cover. For details, see 7.12 Installing the Chassis Cover.
Step 8 Install the RH2288H V3. For details, see 3.4 Installing the Server.
Step 9 Connect all external cables such as power and network cables. For details, see 3.5

Step 10 Power on the RH2288H V3. For details, see 4.1 Powering On the Server.
