Ch1 DC at Idle Chopper 1 is in idle state and
the chopper current is more
than 10 A.
1. Look for 24 VDC from the power sources (J2
pins 1 – 3).
2. If you find 24 VDC from the power sources, the
chopper is bad.
3. Replace the chopper if necessary.

the chopper current is more
than 10 A.
1. Look for 24 VDC from the power sources (J2

2. If you find 24 VDC from the power sources, the

This code is applicable only
for processes that start with
argon (Ar) gas.
1. Inspect the consumable parts for damage and
excess wear.
2. If any consumable part needs replacement,
refer to Install the consumables on page 133.
3. If the code continues, contact your cutting
machine supplier or regional Hypertherm
