Logging in to the Manager
To ensure your connection to the storage system is secure, the HTTPS protocol is used,
and only individuals who know the administrator user name and password can view or
change any of the storage system settings.
To log in to the Manager:
1. When the security alert appears, click Yes. The login page displays.
2. Enter the administrator user name and password.
The default user name is admin, and the default password is storage. These are case-
sensitive. Once you log in, you can change both the administrator user name and
password at any time. For more information, see “Changing the System Settings” on
page 66.
3. Click Log In.
