Chapter2 Status register
You can get the current status of the power supply by reading the status
registers. The power supply records the different status of the instrument
through the four status register group. The four status register groups are:
Questionable Status Register, Operation Status Register, Standard Event
Register and Status Byte Register. Status Byte Register records the
information of the other status register.
The following table describes the status signals.
Questionable Status Register
Output is disabled by the over-voltage
protection.
Output is disabled by the over-current
protection.
Output is disabled by the over-power
protection.
Output is disabled by the under-voltage
protection.
Output is disabled by the
over-temperature protection.
Output is disabled by the under-current
protection.
Operation Status Register
The power supply is under calibration。
The power supply is running the list
program.
The power supply is waiting for a
trigger.
Output is in constant voltage.
Output is in constant current.
The power supply is in the output-on
delay.
The power supply is in the output-off
delay.
All commands before and including
*OPC have been executed.
The instrument tried to read the output
buffer but it was empty, a new
command line was received before a
previous query has been read, or both
the input and output buffers are full.
