compability
If your site is suscepble to problems with electromagnec compability (EMC), parcularly
from lightning or radio transmiers, seek expert advice.
Strong sources of electromagnec interference (EMI) can cause:
• Destrucon of the signal drivers and receivers in the device,
• Electrical hazards as a result of power surges conducted over the lines into the equipment.
Rack Requirements for an EX4600 Switch
EX4600 Switches are designed to be installed on four-post racks.
Rack requirements consist of:
• Rack type
• Mounng bracket hole spacing
• Rack size and strength
Table 21 on page 52 provides the rack requirements and specicaons for the EX4600 Switch.
