Return Procedure for the SRX100 Services Gateway
To return an SRX100 Services Gateway or component to Juniper Networks for repair or
replacement:
1. Determine the part number and serial number of the device or component. See
“Locating the SRX100 Services Gateway Component Serial Number and Agency
Labels” on page 109.
2. Obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from JTAC. See “Contacting
Customer Support” on page 107.
NOTE: Do not return the device or any component to Juniper Networks
unless you have first obtained an RMA number. Juniper Networks reserves
the right to refuseshipments that do not have an RMA. Refusedshipments
are returned to the customer via collect freight.
3. Pack the SRX100 Services Gateway or component for shipping. See “Packing the
SRX100 Services Gateway and Components for Shipment” on page 110.

If you are returning a services gateway or hardware component to Juniper Networks for
repair or replacement, obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from
Juniper Networks Technical Assistance Center (JTAC).
When requesting support from JTAC by telephone, be prepared to provide the following
information:
Your existing case number, if you have one
Details of the failure or problem
Type of activity being performed on the services gateway when the problem occurred
