Calibration Security
This section describes the instrument's calibration security system. If you forget the security code, you can
override calibration security.
Security Overview
A security code (calibration password) prevents accidental or unauthorized instrument calibration.
l When shipped from the factory, the instrument is secured, with the security code (calibration pass-
word) set to AT3446XA.
l The same security code must be used for front panel and remote operation. If you secure the instru-
ment from the front panel, use that same code to unsecure it from the remote interface.
l This setting is non-volatile; it will not be changed by power cycling or *RST or SYSTem:PRESet.
l Security code rules:
Unquoted string up to 12 characters
Must start with letter (A-Z)
May contain letters, numbers (0-9) and underscores
l
Front Panel: [Utility] > Test / Admin > Security
l
SCPI: CALibration:SECure:STATe
