3. Mechanical adjustment
3.1 Adjusting the paper reference position
NOTE
• Make this adjustment after any of the following procedures has been performed.
When the PH Unit has been replaced.
When the image on the print is offset in the FD direction.
When a faint image occurs on the leading edge of the image.
1. Display Tech. Rep. Mode.

Tech. Rep. Mode screen, see the
Adjustment/Setting of the main unit
service manual.
2. Touch “Machine Adjust”.
3. Touch “PRT Area”.
4. Touch “Left Margin”.
5. Touch “3rd” and then press the
“Start” key.
6. A test print will be produced.
