Thetypesofreplaceablecomponentsare:
•Structuralparts:Purchaseandreplacementofstructuralparts(components,suchaschassisassembly,
topcover,andbezel)isyourresponsibility.IfIBMacquiresorinstallsastructuralcomponentatyour
request,youwillbechargedfortheservice.
•Tier1customerreplaceableunit(CRU):ReplacementofTier1CRUsisyourresponsibility.IfIBM
installsaTier1CRUatyourrequest,youwillbechargedfortheinstallation.
•Tier2customerreplaceableunit:YoumayinstallaTier2CRUyourselforrequestIBMtoinstallit,atno
additionalcharge,underthetypeofwarrantyservicethatisdesignatedforyourserver.
