Usethisinformationtoremoveahot-swapharddiskdrive.
Attention:
•Toavoiddamagetotheharddiskdriveconnectors,makesurethattheservercoverisinplaceandfully
closedwheneveryouinstallorremoveaharddiskdrive.
•Tomakesurethatthereisadequatesystemcooling,donotoperatetheserverformorethan2minutes
withouteitheraharddiskdriveorafillerpanelinstalledineachbay.
•Beforeyoumakechangestodiskdrives,diskdrivecontrollers(includingcontrollersthatareintegrated
onthesystemboard),diskdrivebackplanes,ordiskdrivecables,backupallimportantdatathatis
storedonharddisks.
•BeforeyouremoveanycomponentofaRAIDarray,backupallRAIDconfigurationinformation.
