Installinganewerversion
TolocateandinstallanewerversionofIBMSystemsDirector,completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.CheckforthelatestversionofIBMSystemsDirector:

b.IfanewerversionofIBMSystemsDirectorthanwhatcomeswiththeserverisshowninthe
drop-downlist,followtheinstructionsonthewebpagetodownloadthelatestversion.
Step2.InstalltheIBMSystemsDirectorprogram.
InstallingupdateswithyourmanagementserverisconnectedtotheInternet
IfyourmanagementserverisconnectedtotheInternet,tolocateandinstallupdatesandinterimfixes,
completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.MakesurethatyouhaveruntheDiscoveryandInventorycollectiontasks.
Step2.OntheWelcomepageoftheIBMSystemsDirectorwebinterface,clickViewupdates.
Step3.ClickCheckforupdates.Theavailableupdatesaredisplayedinatable.
Step4.Selecttheupdatesthatyouwanttoinstall,andclickInstalltostarttheinstallationwizard.
