Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoturnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,
anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Toinstallasimple-swapharddiskdrive,completethefollowingsteps:

1.Ifyouhaveonlyoneharddiskdrive,installitintheleftorupper-leftdrivebay.
2.3TBharddiskdrivesarenotsupportedinOS4690.
Step1.Removethefillerpanelfromtheemptydrivebay.
Step2.Touchthestatic-protectivepackagethatcontainsthedrivetoanyunpaintedmetalsurfaceonthe
server;then,removethedrivefromthepackageandplaceitonastatic-protectivesurface.
Step3.Removethefillerpanelfromthebay
Step4.Installtheharddiskdriveinthedrivebay:
a.Toinstalla3.5-inchsimple-swapharddiskdrive,pulltheloopsofthedrivetraytowardeach
other,andslidethedriveintotheserveruntilthedriveconnectstothebackplate.Release
theloopsofthedrivetray.
