Toreplaceorinstallahot-swappowersupply,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Graspthesideclipandpulltoremovethepower-supplyfillerpanelfromtheemptypower-supply
bay.Savethepower-supplyfillerpanelincaseyouremovethepowersupplyatalatertime.
Important:Duringnormaloperation,eachpower-supplybaymustcontaineitherapowersupply
orpower-supplyfillerpanelforpropercooling.

Step2.Slidethehot-swappowersupplyintothebayuntilthereleaselatchclicksintoplace.
Step3.Connectoneendofthepowercordforthenewpowersupplyintotheacconnectorontheback
ofthepowersupply;then,connecttheotherendofthepowercordintoaproperlygrounded
electricaloutlet.
Step4.Iftheserveristurnedoff,turnontheserver.
Step5.MakesurethattheacpowerLEDonthepowersupplyislit,indicatingthatthepowersupplyis
operatingcorrectly.Iftheserveristurnedon,makesurethatthedcpowerLEDonthepower
supplyislitalso.
Ifyouhavereplacedaservercomponentorinstalledanoptionaldeviceintheserver,youneedtoreconnect
thepowercordsandallexternalcables,andturnontheserverandperipheraldevices.
