Step1.Removethecover(see“Removingthecover”onpage131).
Step2.Aligntheairbafflepinswiththebafflepinholesontheserverchassisandfancageassembly;then,
lowertheairbaffleintotheserver.Presstheairbaffledownuntilitissecurelyseated.

thepowercordsandallexternalcables,andturnontheserverandperipheraldevices.
Attention:Forpropercoolingandairflow,replacetheairbafflebeforeturningontheserver.Operatingthe
serverwithanairbaffleremovedmightdamageservercomponents.

Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoturnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,
anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
ToremovethePCIriser-cardassembly,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Removethecover(see“Removingthecover”onpage131).
Step2.IfanadapterisinstalledinthePCIriser-cardassembly,disconnectanycablesthatareconnected
totheadapter.
Step3.GraspthefrontandrearofthePCIriser-cardassemblyandliftitoutofthePCIriser-cardslot
onthesystemboard.
