anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Toinstallthesimple-swapharddiskdrivebackplateassembly,completethefollowingsteps:
Guide channels
Step1.Reconnectthecablestothereplacementbackplateassembly.
Step2.Slidethebackplateassemblyintotheguidechannels,makingsurethatanynearbywiresorcables
arenottrappedorpinched.
Step3.Pressonthetwobluetouchpointsfirmlyuntilthebackplateassemblyisfullyseated..
Step4.Installthecover(see“Replacingthecover”onpage132).
Step5.Replacetheharddiskdrives.
Step6.Reconnectthepowercordsandanycablesthatyouremoved.
Step7.Turnontheperipheraldevicesandtheserver.
