Toremoveasimple-swapharddiskdrivefromthebay,completethefollowingsteps:
Readthesafetyinformationin“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”onpage33.
Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoturnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,
anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Step1.Makesurethattheservertopcoverisinplaceandfullyclosed
Step2.Removethefillerpanelfromthebay.
Step3.Removetheharddiskdrive:
•Toremovea3.5-inchsimple-swapharddiskdrive,pulltheloopsofthedrivetraytowardeach
otherandpullthedriveoutofthebay.
