anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Toreplacethefixedpowersupply,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Placethenewpowersupplyintothebay.

Step2.Tightenthecaptivethumbscrewthatsecurestherearofthepowersupplytothechassisbottom.
Step3.Replacethescrewthatholdsthepowersupplytotherearofthechassis.
Step4.Connecttheinternalpower-supplycablefromthepowersupplytothepowerconnectorsonthe
systemboard.See“System-boardinternalconnectors”forthelocationsofthepowerconnectors
onthesystemboard.
Step5.Routetheinternalpower-supplycables,securingthemwiththeretention-clips.
