5.3 Connecting to the AlgoMed Manually
Medoc Main Station automatically connects to the AlgoMed device during startup. In case
software was started in the offline mode (“not connected” option was selected during software
login) or communication was disconnected accidently it is possible to reconnect from within the
software. To connect to the AlgoMed device follow the instructions below:
1. Select Settings from the top menu bar.
2. Select Software Settings from the settings sub-menu.
3. Select AlgoMed tab.
4. Select the specific COM port from the AlgoMed COM Port drop-down menu or select
Auto Detect. See Figure below.
5. Click Connect and wait for the indicator on the side to turn GREEN.
6. Press OK. AlgoMed Algometer is now connected and ready for use.
