The probes used with this program.
Under Description, click the arrow ; then type free text
to describe the program.
The Description icon is indicated as active ( ).
The date on which the latest changes were made and saved.
Defines how these events are indicated: TTL, sound, or both.
Table 11: Program Parameters
Time Before
Sequence (sec)
The time interval before the first trial of the current sequence
between 0 to 600 seconds.
External Trigger /
Manual Trigger
Triggers the beginning of a stimulation sequence. Key board hot
key T can be used as a manual trigger.
External trigger is not active.
Destination Pressure
(Kpa)
The maximal pressure to be applied during the trial.
Destination Rate
(KPa/sec)
The required rate which pressure will be applied to tested
subject by the operator. 0.1 – 100 KPa/sec
Defines the duration in seconds, between the Destinations to
the End of duration of maximal trial pressure.
Defines whether the pressure returns to the baseline or
proceeds to the destination pressure of the next sequence.
Select the relevant option from the drop-down menu.
Note that when the “next destination” option is selected certain
fields become inactive, because they are no longer relevant (for
example, the Number of Trials turns to ‘1’).
The required rate which pressure will be reduced by the
operator. 0.1 – 100 KPa/sec
The required pressure tolerance during test, 0.1 – 1000KPa.
Enable / disable the rate audio rate monitoring
The numbers of trials in the sequence, 1 – 100 trails.
Randomizes the next trial or sequence.
ISI Min (sec) /
ISI Max (sec)
Inter Stimuli Interval. Defines the min. and max. Time between
successive trials (stimuli), and randomizes the actual time
between them. If these values are the same, then the interval
is fixed. – between 0 to 600
Event marked at the onset of the stimulus. Select event from
