Setting a MEDIA DETECT
There are two settings for media detection, “Width detection” and “Thickness detection”. When you set the
media and if you enter any media width/ thickness, or, when you use a clear media etc. and there is a problem
to use the media width sensor/ the media thickness sensor, set it to “MANUAL”.

Press the key in LOCAL.

Press to select [MACHINE SETUP].

Press the key.

Press to select [MEDIA DETECT].

Press the key.
• The setting screen of media width detection is displayed.

Press to select “AUTO” or “MANUAL”.

Press the key.
• The setting screen of media thickness detection is displayed.

Press the key.

Press to select “AUTO” or “MANUAL”.

Press the key.

Press the key several times to end the setting.
