About ink disposal
When disposing of ink, be sure to follow the procedure below.

Press the key in LOCAL.

Press to select [MAINTENANCE].

Press the key.

Press to select [WASTE INK BTL.].

Press the key.

Press to select the ink bottle to be
disposed ink.

Press the key.
• The ink disposal confirmation screen, as well as the
remaining amount (XX%) and expiration date (YY/MM) of
the ink to be disposed of, are displayed.

If there is no problem on the confirmation screen, press the key.
• This resets the ink charge information embedded in this machine.

Dispose of the ink in the ink bottle selected in Step 6.
• When disposing of ink, call for service from our company or our distributor.
• Be sure to wear the accompanying gloves and protective goggles before working. The ink may get in
your eyes.
• When disposing of ink, call for service from our company or our distributor.
• Request that an industrial waste disposal company process the disposal ink.
