Setting the Setting Lock function
You can freely specify a four digit password so that no one other than an administrator can perform network
and mail settings.
Specifying the password for the network and event mail functions

Press the key in LOCAL.

Press to select [MACHINE SETUP].

Press to select [NETWORK & MAIL].

Press the key.

Press to select [SETTING LOCK].

Press the key.

Specify a freely chosen password (four digits) and
press the key.
• A notification that setting has started is briefly displayed.

Press the key several times for terminating this function.
