About time to replace lamp
When time to replace the lamp has come, the machine informs you of it
when you turn on the power supply, by displaying the message on the right
screen.
The display shows the message to notify you to replace a post cure lamp.
The number notifies you which lamp needs replacement.
(1: Lamp upper level, 2: Lamp middle level, 3: Lamp lower level)
Turn off the main power before replacing the lamp.
When this message is displayed, replace the lamp by operating procedures
below:(SPC-0690: 3 pcs. included / SPA-0222: 1 pc. included)
When time to replace the lamp has come, the
machine informs you by displaying the message
on the right screen.
1
Press the key.
2
Press the key.
A message urging you to turn off the main power is displayed.
Be sure to check the message on the right before proceeding to
Step 3.
3
Turn the main power OFF.
4
Rotate the knob at the left and the right of the post
cure unit to the direction to be loosened (about
three times).
The lamp is hot immediately after it is turned off. Wait until the lamp cools down and replace it.
Handle the lamp with care when replacing it. If not, the lamp may hit the main unit and cause a break
or an injury.
Injuries can be caused by the edges of the protective cover or from breaking a lamp. Be sure to wear
protective gloves when replacing lamps.
Even after the message is displayed, the lamp of the Post Cure Unit lights for a while.
However, as the amount of light becomes less, UV ink curing is poorer compared with that before
displaying the message.
