CAUTION
When the indenter is not placed to the front side of the hardness testing machine,
pressing (INDENT) allows the Turret to be automatically rotated so that the
indenter moves to the front. Keep your face and hands away from the Turret at that time.
7. Measure the length of the diagonal line of the indentation with use of the Measuring
microscope. ⇒ Refer to 4.1.4 for further information.
8. Finish the hardness test. ⇒ Refer to 4.1.5 for further information.
4.1.2 Turn on the power of the Manual main unit.
1. Press the power switch on the sidewall of the rear panel to turn on the power.
