5.3.2 Reading correction setting (CORRECT)
The reading correction per measuring operator can be set.
Important
Available setting range: 0.01 to 200.00%
CAUTION
1. Make sure to set it [OFF] when reading correction is not required, otherwise the
correct test result may not be achieved.
2. When the measuring operator is changed while the reading correction is [ON], set it
[OFF] or re-enter the correction value, otherwise the correct test result may not be
achieved.
3. When measuring with a different objective lens while the reading correction is [ON],
set it [OFF] or re-enter the correction value, otherwise the correct test result may not
be achieved.
4. It can be applied to the Vickers hardness test and Knoop hardness test. (It cannot be
applied to fracture toughness test.)
5. Make sure to set it [OFF] when operating other hardness test, otherwise the correct
test result may not be achieved.
